Thank you, Silverblood, for having these codes handy XD I know that a ton of other warrior RPG sites have them, but Silverblood is where I got them from.
Deputies:
Leader says: I say these words before the body of (deceased deputy), so that his/her spirit may hear and approve of my choice. (new deputy) will be the new deputy of (clan).
The deputies:
*organize patrols
*need to have mentored at least one apprentice
*must be assigned before moonhigh after the previous deputy had passed on
*controls the Clan while the leader is away
*takes over the leader's spot when he/she is away
Medicine Cat (performed at the Glowing Cave):
Medicine Cat says: I, (medicine cat's name), medicine cat of _____clan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He/she has trained hard to understand the ways of the medicine cat, and with your help he/she will serve her Clan for many moons. _____paw, do you promise to uphold the ways of a medicine cat, to stand apart from rivalry between Clan and Clan, and to protect all cats equally, even at the cost of your life?
Apprentice replies: I do.
Medicine Cat continues: Then by the powers of DreamClan I give you your true name as a medicine cat. _____paw, from this moment on you will be known as (medicine cat name). DreamClan honors your (two good qualities).
Medicine cat places his/her muzzle on newly named medicine cat's head, new medicine cat licks the shoulder of his/her mentor.
Warrior:
Leader says: I, _____dream, leader of _____Clan, call upon our warrior ancestors to look down upon this apprentice. He/she has trained hard in the ways of your noble code, and I commend him/her to you as a warrior in his/her turn. _____paw, do you agree to uphold the warrior code and defend your clan, even at the cost of your life?
Apprentice replies: I do.
Leader continues: Then by the powers of DreamClan I give you your warrior name. _____paw, from this moment on you shall be known as (warrior name). We honor/commend (etc.) your (two good qualties) and welcome you as a full warrior of _____Clan.
Leader rests muzzle on aprentice's head, apprentice licks leader's shoulder.
*apprentices cannot become warriors unless they're at least twelve moons old.
Apprentice:
Leader says: _____kit has reached his/her sixth moon and is ready to become an apprentice. From now on you will be known as _____paw. (warrior), you are ready for your first/aother apprentice. The clan trusts that you will pass all of your (two good qualities) to _____paw.
*kits cannot become apprentices until they're six moon old.
Elder:
Leader says: (warrior), is it your wish to give up the name of a warrior and go to join the elders?
Cat replies: It is.
Leader says: Your Clan honors you and all the service you have given us. I call upon DreamClan to give you many seasons of rest.
Renaming:
Leader says: Spirits of DreamClan, you know every cat by name. I ask you now to take away the name from the cat you see before you, for it no longer stands for what he/she is. By my authority as Clan leader, and with the approval of our warrior ancestors, I give this cat a new name. From this moment he/she will be known as (new name).
